Canon EOS 90D Super Kit with EF-S 18-135mm IS USM Lens

Unlock your creative potential

The Canon EOS 90D Body is a great balance between still and movie specs for the enthusiast or beginner photographer/videographer that want a little more out of their equipment. Canon packed a new and improved 32.5 Megapixel APS-C image sensor and their DIGIC 8 image processor into the upgrade to the 80D resulting in 10 fps stills shooting with full autofocus tracking, 4K 25p videos with no crop and Dual Pixel AF enabled.

When working with the optical viewfinder, an apt 45-point all cross-type AF system affords fast performance in a range of lighting conditions for tracking moving subjects and working in low light, while the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system benefits live view shooting and movie recording by providing a smooth, natural focusing quality akin to the way a camcorder acquires focus. Touch-to-focus is availed by the large 3.0" 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD, which also sports a swiveling vari-angle design for working from high and low angles with ease.

In addition to the boosted frames per second claim of 10fps vs. 7fps the 90D positions itself as a well-balanced upgrade to the 80D with lots of attention to detail. Exposure and metering have been updated by a 220,000 dot RGB+IR metering sensor with 216-zone (18 x 12) full-aperture TTL metering for more accurate exposure and skintone.

Dual Pixel Autofocus now uses a larger area of the live view frame and now 143 area segments vs. the previous 35 segments of the 80D, and even supports Eye AF servo autofocus to automatically focus on the eyes of a person's face.

The camera's ISO range has also been extended with a calibrated maximum of 25600 (extended 51200) for stills and 12800 (extended 25600) for video proving a 4-stop improvement to the previous generation.

Canon has not forgotten about ergonomics providing both a slightly deeper grip, a new joystick for AF point selection and have also made the 90D slightly lighter and smaller than the 80D.

High performance, compact lens for outstanding photos and movies

A go-to lens for photos and movies, the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM has shoot-specific, dedicated IS modes, ensuring you achieve steady results. Nano USM technology delivers fast focusing that is smooth and quiet for moviemaking.

Its compact, lightweight design makes it a lens perfect for travelling without compromising on quality, giving you excellent colour and contrast reproduction. The UD and aspherical lens elements reduce chromatic aberration throughout its expansive focal range for both movies and photos.

Nano USM technology - smooth, fast and quiet

Never miss a moment

The Nano USM technology in the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM allows you to focus on your subject with exceptional speed. Combined with a versatile focal range, it allows you to capture dramatic landscapes, beautiful portraits and fast-paced action.

Professional quality movies made easy

Nano USM focusing technology provides a natural look to your movies, with exceptionally smooth autofocus when tracking subjects. However, you can also take control at any time with its responsive manual focus ring.

Find out what makes Nano USM possible

Inside the Nano USM unit sits an elastic metal body, ceramic voltage element and drive unit. The application and adjustment of voltage to the ceramic element, controls the direction and speed of the drive unit. The result is a focusing system that gives you a smooth focus with speed control.

Stay steady amongst the action

Shooting pin-sharp photographs is made easy with the 4-stop Optical Image Stabilizer. It counteracts camera shake for high quality results in low light or when using zoom, while a dedicated Panning Mode automatically engages when you are following a moving subject.

The Dynamic Image Stabilizer ensures movie footage is stable when shooting handheld, at full zoom or on the move.

Incredible versatility across the focal range

The EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM comfortably captures a range of subjects due to its wide focal range. At its shortest focal length, you can capture expanses of landscapes. At the opposite end, you can get closer to action with its telephoto capabilities and high speed autofocus. The 4-stop Optical Image Stabilizer keeps your images sharp and steady when at maximum zoom, working in low light or shooting video.

Professional quality movie making made simple with the new Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E1

The new Power Zoom Adapter effortlessly attaches to the electrical contacts underneath the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens, allowing zoom to be operated via a simple lever (or Wi-Fi when used with a compatible EOS camera body), delivering consistently precise, smooth zoom control for professional looking movies.

Simple to use and lightweight, it’s the perfect accessory for professional quality moviemaking wherever you are; follow the action, shoot documentary-style footage, or zoom for creative effect.

Keep your distance while staying on top of the action

The addition of the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E1 takes the versatility of the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens even further, allowing you to control your zoom remotely.

Team your EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens and the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E1 with a compatible Wi-Fi EOS camera body and you can control your zoom wirelessly via your smart device and the Canon Camera Connect App.**
